Cordy in South Africa for GBR
So in the first week of January 2020 whilst the rest of us were up early and de-icing our cars and getting back to the daily grind of the rat race, A certain somebody was experiencing something altogether different
Cordy had been selected by GBR to attend a South African Training Camp in Port Elizabeth as part of a GBR and England Judo contingent, After the recent success of the Commonwealth Championships in Walsall, South Africa will have the honour of hosting the event in 2 years time
Only two British Squad members were chosen, Cordelia was joined by Matthew Boyce an U100kg player whom trains with Max occasionally along with BJA CEO Andrew Scoular and BJA Board Member and former World Medallist Joyce Heron
As you can see there were some very unique sights to be seen and some glorious views
The camp itself bought the National Team of South Africa and many invited players from the Commonwealth Countries and consisted of 4 days of randori and technical instruction
A fantastic experience for Cordelia as she continues in her Judo Journey
