Drake Judo Club appoints new Vice-Captain for 2018/19

DJC is delighted to announce that we have appointed a new Club Vice-Captain for the 2018/19 year.

Daisy Terjack has been selected to take on this important role.

The role of Vice-Captain is to act as a role model for our younger more inexperienced players by setting a good example first and foremost, this means things like regular attendance, competition and grading are very important. Lucy Knape was our previous Vice-Captain and did an excellent job, thankyou Lucy

Also the following duties are equally as important

• Communicates with fellow team members, and provide support and advice where needed

• Encourages club members to be involved in social and voluntary activities

• Welcomes new members to the club

Daisy will also provide support to our Club Captain Jack (pictured with Daisy) and stand in for him at official functions when required
