Coaching Education - NSPCC Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Vulnerable Adults Course
On Monday evening Mike, Ross, Charles and Dan attended the NSPCC Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Vulnerable Adults Course at the Life Centre.
The course was 3 hours and is a required standard for all coaches who hold a UKCC coaching qualification.
This was the 3rd time that Mike and Ross have taken the course and so DJC are very experienced in the particular modules that are covered, DJC has a very broad and robust welfare and safeguarding policy(it was especially noted during our nomination for club of the year) including a specific role for equity and including Adult welfare as part of our overall policy.
