Ros strikes National Gold

Saturday the 30th of September saw Ros & Charles head off to Cardiff to the Welsh Sports Institute to compete in the National Masters Championships

Charles had a tough day, being disqualified after 3 penalties in his first contest, followed by losing his next contest to a small score, this was a good learning experience and will hold not only Charles but some of our other masters in good stead for the Future

Ros had 3 contests he first was a Wazari throw followed into Ne-waza to secure Ippon. Her 2nd contest was a throw for ippon, followed by another Wazari into Ne-waza

3 contests three wins by Ippon which gave Ros her first British Masters title

To the medal ceremony and to hear 'Drake Judo Club' announced is a first at national level, Everyone is extremely proud
