DJC Nominated for Club of the Year at BJA Awards, Dan Brown Nominated for Volunteer of the Year too!
Drake Judo is proud to announce that we have been nominated for BJA Community Club of the year, less than 18 months after first opening our doors.
Drake is also delighted to announce that the work of DJC club secretary Dan Brown has also been recognised with a nomination for Volunteer of the Year
The 2017 British Judo Awards Dinner and ceremony will be held at the East Midlands Conference Centre on Saturday 11th November 2017.
Over 40,000 people across the United Kingdom help make British Judo what it is by volunteering their time to run and support clubs, competitions and Area Committees throughout the year, so to receive a nomination for our club and for Dan is wonderful recognition of all the hard work everyone has put into making DJC so successful at this early stage
A big thank you to Development Officer Andy Hay for taking the time to write nominations out and putting across the club and Dan's qualities so well
Also good to see Amber Pascoe from Hoshi club being nominated for you referee of the year too
Congratulations everyone!
